The water was dark blue and I had the sense of a rip current, though I've never actually experienced one in waking life. I needed to get to shore, but I knew it was useless to swim in that direction. I let the current carry me away. Serious dark blue ambiance with the land looking black. The current began to carry me near another shore and I surged toward it and climbed out of the water, thankful it had not gotten too deep.
Once on land I saw someone and spoke with them. Who and what alludes me.
