Dream
I dreamed about being at this school. It was different from previous 'dream schools.' I was trying to visit things before darkfall. My husband was with me. I did some flirting with him, and we went outside to find it was dark. I looked around and noticed no one was outside. I scrambled my way into a small hut with open windows.

I saw something walking around outside and kept quiet. Somebody came along and got rid of the 'monsters.' My husband was complaining about what the person used, but the other person told him not to worry it was filled with vitamins and he got it straight from the vet.

There were other scenes earlier, but that dream made little sense already, no need to add to it. Okay, so there was this store that someone told me was too expensive to buy anything from. He only dropped his cart off there. I watched him drop the cart off, nearly began browsing the store, and then remembered not to and then left. See? *laughs*

Roof

In the process of 'redrawing' the spirit house (I'm toying around with the name Nysidra Estate) and this time I'm doing it more file size and future render friendly. For instance, I have separate groups for the platforms and exterior walls and porches.

When I put the ceiling on the 2nd floor (I am also torn between what to call these floors. The basement I've decided will be partially exposed, the ground floor is okay, but the second floor is really the third.) I returned to a previous decision about creating the roof.

Roof design is serious business. This isn't exactly a square I'm placing an altered pyramid on. Yesterday, I gave it up and decided to let it go. It's just imaginary or some such nonsense I tell other people to fend them off.

I went to bed reconfiguring the roof in my mind before drifting off to sleep. I knew then that it was important to me and I'd spazz about it until I got it done.

So I've spent several hours looking at the roofs of large homes and sketching out how the hell I'm going to get this right. Save for a few gaps in the sketch, I think it's going to be all right. That's how the "Nysidra Estate" name came to me. I have newly discovered that to "compare notes" I need to look at pictures of estates, not mansions.

I also noticed that multi-level / split-level home have more appealing roof lines. So I've marked parts of my severely amateur roof plan to include low, medium, and high roof slopes.

With the roof sketched out, my spazz should go to a lull. I'm not going to put it in the 3D plans until I've finished with the interior walls.
